Michelle and Nick are doing a fund raising night with a disco, tombola, prizes and of course plenty of drink! It’s at a different venue than last years which we think will make it an even better night. It’s on Friday 18th June at the Blue Flames Sporting Club in the Belsay Suite, tickets are priced at £2.50.
Blue Flames Sporting Club,
Whitley Road,
Benton,
Newcastle upon Tyne,
NE12 9SF
If you go on to their website, www.blueflamesclub.co.uk, it gives you a map with directions on how to get there.

We do have some Greyhounds that have been tested with cats.
Bess is living with a cat but must stay in the Sunderland/Newcastle area
Dreamer has been tested with cats
Mary has been tested with cats.
Rosy 1 has been tested with cats.
All of these dogs have not got the chasing instinct that most Greyhounds have but work on new owners side is essential to help them become a non chase to cat friendly.
If you are after a cat friendly/ tolerant and live in the North East area please get in touch.
Home checks are always done to see what dogs are like with your resident cat. Please ask rescue for more details.

Carol is collecting aluminum cans as we are trying to raise money for the rescue.
These can have got to be non magnetic and pretty clean. Also if you can squash them down so it is easier to store.
You can off load these cans onto any of our volunteers on our monthly walks, fundraising days or if you have loads then we can arrange for someone to come and collect them.
